The gospel is the good news about Jesus Christ for all people. The expression of the gospel takes many forms as we reflect missiologically on what God is doing in a culture. One key aspect of the gospel is presenting it in a way that it is genuinely good news. While Jesus was on earth, he did many things that demonstrated that he was good news. God has used those things to draw people to himself.
Additionally, a presentation of the gospel without following up with discipleship does not properly make disciples. Evangelism and discipleship go hand in hand.

Next to Jesus, the Apostle Paul is the most prominent figure in the early church. For some reason, church planters seem to connect with him on a deep level. Perhaps it is because we want to be like him. Maybe we feel like our experiences are similar to his. Whatever the reason, Paul stands out among the apostles as one who took the gospel to places it had never been. For church planters, and for the rest of us, there is much to learn from the apostle. That is what this small book of discovery Bible studies is about.
