As we journey toward the end of the year, we want to share stories that illustrate the life-changing impact your support will have on students preparing to lead, disciple, and teach. These individuals come from regions where theological resources are limited, but where there is an immense hunger for solid theological training and spiritual growth.
Empowering Leaders Across Africa and Asia
In Nepal, Pastor Beni leads a team that shares the gospel more than 5,000 times each month, yet he recognizes that deep theological training is essential for sustainable ministry: “As you know, ministry needs sound theology to stand firmly upon the Word of God. I would like to request training with my team during your Nepal visit.” Pastor Beni’s desire for solid theological foundation reflects a broader need among our scholarship recipients, who seek to be well-equipped to disciple others effectively.
Meanwhile, in Africa, Pastor Esaie is mobilizing the African church to bring the gospel to people groups who have never heard the name of Jesus. He believes that theological training is key to advancing this mission: “I think the Lord will use Ephesiology to accelerate the African mission movement in a special way, and I want to be part of it.” With the right support, students like Esaie will be empowered to serve their communities, share the gospel, and equip others to reach places where the light of Christ is needed most.
Preparing for Ministry with a Lasting Impact
In Kenya, missionaries are being equipped to bring transformation to their communities and beyond. One Kenyan missionary shared the transformative impact of theological training: “I feel reformed, transformed, and nourished with new concepts that I can use to spread God’s Word to my community. It’s so sweet knowing that I am one of the disciples called to go out and preach to people who have no hope.”
A scholarship will enable these students to engage deeply in their studies and be equipped to make a lasting impact in their regions, training others, planting churches, and fostering discipleship movements.
Our $25,000 Goal: Nine Full Scholarships for Future Professors
We’ve set a goal of raising $25,000 to provide full scholarships for nine students from Nepal, India, Kenya, Malawi, and Tanzania. Each scholarship supports a leader who will apply their theological training in communities where such education is rare but needed. These scholarships allow them to focus on their studies, so they can serve and train others without financial burden.
