Supporting Global Leaders

As the end of the year approaches, we’re reminded of the profound need for theological education among future leaders from regions where resources are limited, but the mission is strong. Our $25,000 goal will provide nine full scholarships for PhD students from Nepal, India, Kenya, Malawi, and Tanzania—empowering each one to equip future leaders, plant churches, and disciple others in areas that need the gospel most.

How Your Support Will Impact Regions of Greatest Need

Each scholarship meets students where they are, based on their home country’s economic conditions. We use the United Nations Human Development Index (HDI) to determine tuition reduction for those in the majority world. What normally costs tens of thousands of dollars in the US is only a fraction of what our students pay. It’s the same academic rigor expected in accredited PhD programs around the world and it’s made financially accessible where theological education is most needed. Here’s how we plan to distribute the funds:

  • Low HDI: Malawi and Tanzania—$2,880 will provide scholarships for two students from these regions with significant financial need.
  • Medium HDI: Kenya, Nepal, and India—$20,160 will fund seven students from these countries, enabling them to access theological education that would otherwise be out of reach.

Real Stories of Impact

In Kenya, a missionary working among Muslim communities shared the life-changing effect of theological training: “I feel empowered, informed, and equipped with the right knowledge to catalyze movements in the world. This training has given me tools and ways to reach out to the lost.” Through a scholarship, this missionary and others like him will be prepared to disciple and raise up new leaders, meeting a deep need in regions where trained pastors and teachers are scarce.

A missionary working among Muslims is mobilizing more missionaries to bring the gospel to spiritually dark places. His words reflect the broader vision our scholarship recipients share: I am pursuing further education because I want to continue to grow in wisdom, understanding, and passion for God’s Word and his mission and be faithful to steward the gifts God has given me for his glory among the nations . . . . I am incredibly excited to continue to be equipped and blessed by great instructors that I may pass on what I learn and teach/equip others for ministry as well!” With the right support, leaders like this will be able to use their training in their communities, empowering others to become disciple-makers and church planters.

In South Asia, a missionary focused on reaching those who have never heard Jesus’ name, shared a similar vision: “This training is equipping me to understand my role in God’s unfolding Kingdom work and become a more effective disciple-maker. I am excited to use what I learn to establish new, multiplying churches in hard-to-reach areas.” Scholarships make it possible for leaders in these regions to study and return with the skills they need to build up the church in places where theological training is rare.

An Opportunity to Transform Communities

Through your support, these students will bring the gospel to life across regions where hope is needed most. By helping us reach our $25,000 goal, you will enable these leaders to grow in knowledge and spiritual strength, and ultimately, to equip others.

Join Us in Building a Legacy of Faith

Every dollar brings us closer to fully funding these scholarships, providing these future professors, pastors, and missionaries the education they need to multiply the gospel in their communities.

Thank you for being a part of this mission. Together, we can make theological education accessible to those who will share Christ’s hope with the world.
